Key points

  1. Social media posting points. Only materials prepared by the RDO earn points: 5 Points per Instructional Video, 4 per Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP), 3 per flyer or powerpoint presentation, and 2 for other materials such as socmed cards. Materials already given points under distribution or press releases, special event announcement cards, and National Office materials earn none.
  2. Tax quiz, events and new ideas. A face-to-face Tax Quiz or special event with at least 12 participants earns 7 Points, and an online or virtual one earns 5 Points. A new or innovative idea earns 10 Points only in the semester it is first implemented, and AVPs and instructional videos no longer count as new ideas.
  3. Unchanged activities. Seminars earn 3 Points below 100 attendees and 5 Points for 100 or more, TV or radio guesting earns 3 Points, and distribution of materials earns 3 Points per type, with BIR Forms excluded. Meetings with LGU officials and briefings for new taxpayer registrants earn 1 Point, and press releases, radio or TV announcements, streamers, speakers sent to outside events and motorcades earn 2 Points.
  4. Reporting duties. RDOs report per type of activity in the TAP Accomplishment Report (Annex B1) with details such as number of attendees and names of materials. CSU Heads review the reports, and the Regional Director certifies their accuracy after validation before submission to the Client Support Service.
  5. Report due dates. RDO reports go to the Regional Director on or before July 10 or January 10. The consolidated report goes to the ACIR, Client Support Service on or before July 20 or January 20, and the evaluation report is due on or before August 25 (semestral) or February 25 of the following year (annual).
  6. Reports no longer required. The semestral and annual TAP reports specified in RMO No. 5-2020, as superseded by RMO No. 18-2021, are no longer required from RDOs and Regional Directors. Section III of RMO No. 31-2020 stays in force except the amended Section III.3.
