RMO No. 42-2022 prescribes the enhanced BIR Digital Transformation (DX) Roadmap 2020-2030 to support the Bureau’s revenue collection mission.
Key points
- Program aim. The DX Program aims to turn the BIR into a data-driven organization with a digitally empowered workforce and reliable, scalable digital infrastructure.
- Four pillars. Pillar I strengthens the BIR organization, Pillar II modernizes the digital backbone, Pillar III enhances policies, governance and standards, and Pillar IV elevates taxpayer experience and innovates BIR services.
- Alignment. All offices must align their other programs, projects and activities with the DX Roadmap 2020-2030.
- Review and changes. Projects under the revised Roadmap are reviewed annually or updated as needed. Any changes must be approved by the Commissioner.
