Key points

  1. Issuing blank TRAs. The Withholding Tax Division issues blank Tax Remittance Advice (TRA) forms to the Administrative Division of each Revenue Region for distribution to Revenue District Offices (RDOs), and strictly monitors their use. RDOs issue blank TRAs to NGAs on requisition, and ensure all NGAs are registered and comply with withholding tax rules.
  2. Filing by NGAs. NGAs prepare a separate TRA for each Withholding Tax Return (WTR) they file. RDOs accept only WTRs supported by TRAs with serially numbered Weekly Compliance and Alphalist of NGAs.
  3. Recording collections. The Finance Division takes up as collections the amounts in TRAs stamped Received by the Bureau of Treasury Provincial or Regional Offices. It records collections based on TRAs with the serially numbered Weekly Compliance and Alphalist.
  4. Verification and audit. All WTRs filed by NGAs remain subject to regular verification and audit.
