Summary
RMO No. 57-2010 prescribes the policies and guidelines for posting information materials on bulletin boards in the BIR National Office.
Key points
- Purpose and limits. Bulletin boards display important information on the BIR and other government agencies for revenue personnel and visitors. Only official matters are posted, and personal ads and other non-official materials are not allowed.
- Board near the building entrance. This board carries Notices of Major Events, Important Announcements for internal and external stakeholders, Media Releases, Posters and Flyers. Each material has a designated office in charge, such as the Taxpayer Information and Education Division for media releases.
- Board in the elevator area. This board carries BIR Weekender Briefs, BIR Monitor, the Index of New Revenue Issuances, Training Issuances, Health Bulletins and Important Announcements for BIR employees. The Corporate Communications Division is in charge of the first three.
- Clearing announcements. Important Announcements are coursed through and cleared by the ACIR, Policy and Planning Service (PPS). Approved ones go to the General Services Division (GSD) with a Reference Slip, and disapproved ones are returned with a note on why.
- Posting and removal. Only authorized GSD personnel post or remove materials. Materials posted or removed go to the Corporate Communications Division for compilation.
