RMO No. 45-2022 establishes the Freedom of Information (FOI) Requests Feedback Survey under FOI-MC No. 22-1, which was published in RMC No. 73-2022.

Key points

  1. Coverage. The survey covers all FOI requests received by the concerned BIR offices. It is separate from the Client/Customer Satisfaction Survey under the Updated Citizen’s Charter and is used only for FOI requests.
  2. Feedback form. BIR offices use the FOI Request Feedback Form (Annex 1). Taxpayers and clients with FOI requests are told the survey must be done before the requested document or transaction is released.
  3. Reporting. The FOI Requests Feedback Score is reported through the amended FOI Registry/Summary and Summary Report, with templates from RMO No. 33-2022, and the FOI Request Feedback Survey (Working Paper).
