Summary
RMO No. 41-2024 amends provisions of RMO No. 24-2017 and RMO No. 40-2018 on the use and maintenance of the BIR Dormitory in the National and Regional Offices.
Key points
- Management. The Training Delivery Division (TDD) in the National Office, or the Administrative & Human Resource Management Division (AHRMD) in the Regional Office, manages its training venues, multi-purpose spaces and dormitory. Admission is limited to BIR personnel.
- Priority order. First priority goes to those attending trainings, seminars or conferences with a Revenue Special Order or Regional Revenue Special Order. Second are those with official transactions in the National or Regional Offices with an official letter. Third are those needing one-week accommodation after a Revenue Travel Assignment Order. Fourth are newly hired employees in on-the-job training in the National Office. Fifth are personnel on overtime beyond 9:00 p.m. or with early flights on official business.
- Reservations. Reservations are first come, first served and made by email to ntc.dorm@bir.qov.ph at least two (2) days before check-in. The email gives the employee’s name, place of assignment, dates and purpose of stay.
- Check-in. The Dormitory-in-Charge, an employee of the TDD or AHRMD, monitors the email and handles the Dormitory Registration Form (DRF). The DRF and BIR ID are shown to the Guard-On-Duty for check-in.
- Cancellation and extension. Reservations are non-transferrable, and cancellations or replacements are emailed to the Dormitory-in-Charge before the arrival date. Staying longer requires notice at least 24 hours before the extension and a new DRF.
