Summary

RMO No. 40-2018 amends provisions of RMO No. 24-2017 on the use and maintenance of the BIR Dormitory in the National and Regional Offices.

Key points

  1. Dormitory Registration Form. The Dormitory-in-Charge (DIC) issues the form in three copies: the original is the employee’s copy, the duplicate is the DIC’s copy, and the triplicate is the employee’s copy for posting on the bed.
  2. Payment. The employee presents the form to the Accounting or Finance Division for an Order of Payment, then pays at the Cashier of the General Services Division or Section.
  3. Reports and support. The DIC submits the Monthly Dormitory Accommodation Report to the Accounting or Finance Division on or before the end of the following month. An office or room is provided for the DIC, and a Petty Cash fund covers dormitory expenses such as laundry and drinking water.
  4. Other amended rules. The Order specifies the amended guidelines on registration, house rules and the roles of the offices involved.
