Key points

  1. Single window. Each Revenue District Office, through its Client Support Section, sets up a single counter for receiving and releasing documentary requirements and permits. The duties of the registration officer at the window are specified in the Order.
  2. No invoice stamping. Stamping of invoices, receipts and other supplementary commercial documents is no longer required. The printer instead submits a Printer’s Certificate of Delivery to the taxpayer’s RDO within thirty (30) days.
  3. Purpose of the certificate. The certificate is evidence of printing of the specific set or serial numbers. It is used for authenticity validation during the Tax Compliance Verification Drive.
  4. Staffing and queuing. The Regional Office assigns newly hired personnel to the Client Support Section. The queuing system gets a new transaction named New Business Registrants, and until then the Certificate of Registration queue field is used.
