Summary
RMC No. 67-2023 prescribes supplemental guidelines for the 2023 Search for the Philippines’ Brightest Buwis Masters (PBBM), adjusting dates and adding cash prizes. All other provisions of RMC No. 64-2023 stay the same.
Key points
- Adjusted dates. The Regional Tax Quiz moves to June 26 to July 7, 2023, and each Regional Office picks its own date within that period. Information drives are held June 5-15, 2023, and preparations run June 5 to July 6, 2023. Documentation of the Regional Tax Quiz goes to the Internal Communications Division July 3 to 14, 2023, within 5 days after the quiz. The National Level stays on July 28, 2023.
- Student requirements. The deadline for submitting requirements to RDOs is June 16, 2023. Students may submit the Registration Form for 2nd Semester 2023 or Summer 2023, whichever is latest, and students who just graduated last semester may still join.
- Cash prizes. Besides Plaques of Recognition, the Grand Champion gets ₱ 15,000.00, the 1st Runner-up ₱ 10,000.00 and the 2nd Runner-up ₱ 5,000.00. The Regional Offices of the three Grand Winners get Certificates of Appreciation.
- Contest Mechanics. Annex H of RMC No. 64-2023 is revised to clarify, among others, the use of a calculator during the Tax Quiz. The revised Contest Mechanics is attached to the Circular.
