Key points
- List categories. The list covers domestic and export manufacturers of locally produced cigarettes, PEZA-registered cigarette manufacturers, importers of cigarettes, manufacturers and importers of vapor products, and importers of heated tobacco products and novel tobacco products.
- New registrants. Those newly registered after August 31, 2023 are added to the updated list on the BIR website.
- Brand registration. Under RR No. 7-2021 and RR No. 14-2022, brands and variants must be registered within six (6) months from the release of the Circular to avoid penalties.
- Product requirements. Products must carry the Graphic Health Warning and BIR Tax Stamps. Vapor products and novel tobacco products are excepted while Internal Revenue Stamps Integrated System stamps are not yet available.
