Key points

  1. Target. The TAP Key Performance Indicator target for each RDO is at least 10 Points per month.
  2. Points per activity. Seminars, briefings, dialogues and fora earn 5 Points with more than 100 participants and 3 Points below 100. A briefing for new taxpayer registrants earns 1 Point, TV or radio guesting 3, sending speakers to other events 2, and distribution of information materials 3. A press release, streamers on display, and a motorcade or recorida each earn 2, a Tax Quiz or special event earns 7, and a new or innovative idea earns 10.
  3. Required documentation. Each activity needs its own proof, such as attendance sheets, pictures of the event, a copy of the press release with news clipping, or a report on materials distributed. A new idea needs a description with its implementation date and results. Publication in BIR Weekender Briefs is required for some activities and optional for others.
  4. Compilation and reports. The RDO’s Client Support Section Chief compiles the documentation and submits it to the Regional Director through the Client Support Unit Head each quarter, with the Accomplishment Report. RDOs submit their reports to the Regional Director by the 10th day of the month after the quarter. The consolidated report is due to the ACIR, Client Support Service by the 15th day of that month.
  5. Evaluation and ranking. The Internal Communications Division prepares the Evaluation Report on TAP, due on or before August 25 for the semestral report and February 25 of the following year for the annual report. RDOs are ranked on their Average Points for the 1st Semester and at year end.
