CollapseExpand
Key points
- AABs that cannot convert. AABs unable to shift on the scheduled rollout date are temporarily suspended from accepting tax payments on behalf of the BIR.
- LBDE without EDT. AABs that convert to LBDE but lack EDT capability may send payment data by diskette as an interim procedure, only on an exemption basis.
- Grace period and disaccreditation. AAB branches get a grace period of one month from rollout date to resolve readiness problems and meet EDT requirements. A branch still unable to comply may be disaccredited by the BIR.
- Clustering. AABs that opt for the clustering concept of LBDE/EDT payment transmission must notify the BIR in writing, through their Revenue Data Center, at least one week before the rollout date.
