RMO No. 85-2010: Amends RMO No. 40-2010, which provides the policies and guidelines in the recruitment and designation of private appraiser members to the Regional Executive and Technical Committees on Real Property Valuation

Key points

1. Item amended. Item II (1) (c) (Policies and Guidelines) of RMO No. 40-2010 is replaced with new qualification wording.
2. Qualified appraisers. Appraisers chosen must be licensed real estate appraisers registered with the BTRCP of the DTI (now the Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Service under the Professional Regulation Commission), bona fide members of realty service organizations recognized by the RESCOP, or bank appraisers.
3. Documents to submit. Each appraiser member gives the committee Chairman a certified photocopy of the license, the realty service organization’s Certificate of Recognition issued by the BTRCP, and/or a Bank Certification of Employment.
