RMO No. 47-2018 terminates the preparation and submission of BIR Form No. W7 (Monthly Report on Registration and Remittance of Withholding Taxes) and BIR Form No. W8 (Accomplishment Report on Pre-Audited Withholding Tax Returns).

  1. What stops. Revenue District Offices, including concerned offices under the Large Taxpayers Service, no longer prepare these reports or submit them to the Miscellaneous Operations Monitoring Division (MOMD), formerly the Withholding Tax Division of the Collection Service.
  2. If the information is needed. The concerned office under the BIR Information Systems Group extracts it from the Integrated Tax System or other electronic systems, in coordination with the MOMD.
