CollapseExpand
Key points
- What “on-call” covers. It means restoring to working condition defective IT equipment that is not listed in any BIR comprehensive maintenance service contract and is not under warranty.
- Who repairs. The Systems Support Division-Information Systems Operations Service (SSD-ISOS) and the Revenue Data Centers (RDCs) repair equipment at the National Office and at Regional/District Offices within Metro Manila and Metro Cebu, respectively. When a repair cannot be done in-house, the Procurement Division or Admin-RR hires a contractor.
- RDC offices. On-call repairs for RDC offices, except RDC Cebu, follow the National Office procedures.
- Remote offices. Remote BIR Offices, through their Regional Director, enter into a straight contract with local IT service providers or contractors for on-call repairs and maintenance.
- Inspection. All IT equipment for repair undergoes pre-repair inspection by the NO/Regional Inspection and Acceptance Committee. For the National Office and RDOs within Metro Manila and Metro Cebu, the Request for Pre-Repair Inspection Form carries the corresponding Trouble Ticket issued by SSD-ISOS/RDC.
Who is affected
- BIR National Office, Regional Offices and Revenue District Offices
