Key points
- Who may join. All BIR employees may join, in teams of at least three (3) members representing a single office, such as a National Office Division, Revenue Region or RDO. If an office has several teams, its head selects the Best Entry to submit to the Revenue Service or Revenue Region.
- Entry requirements. Entries follow the theme Pagbabayad ng Buwis sa Bayan: Tatak ng Kabayanihan and must be original and unpublished. The short version runs less than one (1) minute for TikTok, and the long version runs four (4) minutes and thirty (30) seconds for Facebook and YouTube. Files must be .mp4, .mov or .avi in high definition or 4k/1080/720 pixels.
- Music options. The long version may use the official 2022 tax campaign jingle or the instrumental only, if the office provides singers. The short version may use the jingle and/or popular or trending royalty-free or copyright-free music.
- Prizes. There are First, Second and Third Prize winners for each of the short and long categories, plus a Special Award for the highest average of combined views and likes on the BIR Facebook and YouTube pages. The RDOs of winning teams get bonus Taxpayer Awareness Program points over their 1st Semester 2022 total: 10, 7 and 5 for the prizes, and 5 for the Special Award.
