Summary
RMC No. 43-2016 reiterates business registration processes and policies in line with Ease of Doing Business.
Key points
- One-day registration. Application for Authority to Print manual receipts/invoices, registration of manual Books of Accounts and issuance of the Certificate of Registration can be done together in one (1) day or within eight (8) working hours. This applies if complete documentary requirements are submitted at registration.
- Forms and fees. All registration forms can be downloaded from the BIR website. The annual registration fee can be paid by mobile payment such as GCash or other ePayment modes.
- Machines and systems from start. Newly-registered businesses may use CRM/POS machines, Computerized Accounting System and/or Computerized Books of Accounts instead of manual receipts/invoices or manual books upon commencement. The machines or systems must come from accredited BIR suppliers, distributors, dealers, vendors or manufacturers and carry a Permit to Use.
