Key points

  1. Forms covered. BIR Form No. 1700 (individuals earning purely compensation income), 1702-EX (exempt non-individual taxpayers), 1702-RT (non-individual taxpayers subject only to regular income tax rate) and 1707 (capital gains tax return for onerous transfer of shares of stock not traded through the local stock exchange).
  2. eFPS and eBIRForms filers. The forms are not yet in eFPS and eBIRForms, so filers use the existing old version in eFPS and the Offline eBIRForms Package. The exception is BIR Form No. 1700, which is filed manually.
  3. Manual filers. Manual filers download and print the PDF version and fill out the applicable fields.
  4. Payment options. Manual and eBIRForms filers pay through an Authorized Agent Bank in the RDO where registered, or with the Revenue Collection Officer through the Mobile Revenue Collection Officers System where there is no AAB. Online options are GCash, the Landbank Linkbiz Portal and DBP Tax Online.
