Key points

  1. Returns with payment. Payment is made within banking hours of the day the return was filed. No penalty applies to taxpayers who filed earlier and paid later, on or before the due date of the applicable tax.
  2. Filing and payment options. Taxpayers may choose e-filing/e-payment, e-filing/manual payment, or manual filing/manual payment.
  3. Manual filing and payment. Under Option 1, the taxpayer files the return and Tax Payment Advice (TPA) with the RDO and pays to the Authorized Agent Bank (AAB). Under Option 2, the taxpayer pays to the AAB and drops the return with the validated TPA in the secured drop box at the AAB premises.
  4. Payment through TDM. Taxpayers paying fully or partially through Tax Debit Memo (TDM) and cash/check can only choose Option 1.
