Key points

  1. Cardboard cards only. TIN cards for new applicants and reprints are issued in cardboard form. Requests for issuance or replacement are made directly at the Revenue District Office (RDO) with jurisdiction over the place of registration.
  2. Forms. New registrants no longer accomplish BIR Form 1925, TIN Card Capture Form. Issuance is based on the applicable registration form filed. BIR Form 1905 is used for loss, damage, change of registered address and change of trade/business name.
  3. No photo or logo. A photo of the individual or company logo is no longer required for processing cardboard TIN cards.
  4. Printing and supply. The RDO prints the TIN cards, using a template designed by the Information Systems Development Service for computerized RDOs. The Systems Operations Division, Information Systems Operations Service issues blank cards to Revenue Data Centers (RDCs), which release them to computerized RDOs under their jurisdiction.
  5. Non-computerized RDOs. Pre-generated TINs are still issued to all non-computerized RDOs.
