Key points

  1. What the Plan is. It lists government priority programs, projects and activities in education, health, youth and sports development, human settlements, science and culture, and economic development. The list is attached as Annex A of the Circular.
  2. Use for donations. The Plan is used to determine which donations to these programs, projects and activities qualify for full Donor’s Tax exemption under Section 101 of the NIRC of 1997.
  3. Income tax deduction. The same donations are used to determine the deduction from gross income under Section 34(H)(2)(a) of the NIRC of 1997, as amended.
