Key points
- Use of the Index. The Index of Success Indicators is the basis for preparing the Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) Forms of the Regional Divisions.
- Make-up of indicators. Success Indicators consist of Performance Measures and Performance Targets. Measures are kept few and include only those that support the Office’s outcomes and are relevant to the BIR’s Core Functions and Strategic Priorities.
- Categories and rating. Measures may use any one, a combination or all of the categories that apply: efficiency/quantity, timeliness, and effectiveness/quality. The rating scale for general functions and for Major Final Outputs requiring 100% performance of the target is in the Order.
