Key points

  1. Who issues the certificate. Only the Revenue District Office with jurisdiction over the property location issues the Certificate of Zonal Values. The applicant uses it with other government offices or private entities.
  2. No more certifications for ONETT. Certifications used to get BIR help in computing One Time Transaction taxes, such as Estate Tax, Donor’s Tax and Capital Gains Tax, are no longer processed. They are not a requirement for BIR assistance or for issuing the Certificate Authorizing Registration (CAR).
  3. Use of the BIR website. BIR processing offices access the zonal values posted on the BIR website. The Revenue Officer generates a screen print-out as supporting document of the computed tax for the authorized Revenue Official’s approval.

Who is affected

  • Applicants for Certificates of Zonal Values
  • BIR processing offices and Revenue Officers
