CollapseExpand

Key points

  1. Two-phase rollout. The soft launch phase cleans up registration records of identified stop-filers for one (1) month. The hard launch phase handles normal stop-filer processing, where cases are created and assigned to seizure agents or examiners for monitoring and action.
  2. Duration per RDO. Each RDO has the soft launch for one month, followed by a two-month hard launch.
  3. Taxes covered. These are Income Tax, Percentage Tax, Value-added Tax, Withholding Tax on Banks, Withholding Tax on Compensation, Tax Withheld on Government Money Payments, Expanded Withholding Tax and Withholding Tax on Fringe Benefits.
  4. Case identification and clean-up. Stop-filer cases are identified only for due dates in the one-month period before the rollout date. All open, unassigned stop-filer cases before soft launch are closed, and the corresponding reminder letters are purged.
  5. Monthly targets. Each seizure agent is assigned a minimum of 50 stop-filer cases and closes a minimum of 25 every month. Each identified Revenue Officer (Assessment) is assigned a minimum of 25 and closes a minimum of 13 every month.
