RMO No. 20-2000: Prescribes the policies and raffle mechanics in the holding of the 2000 raffle promo “Humingi ng Resibo, Milyun-Milyon Pa Rin ang Panalo”

Key points

1. Raffle schedule. There are nineteen (19) Regional raffles on November 17 or 18, 2000. Four (4) Area raffles run from November 24 to December 6, 2000 for the Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and National Capital Region internal revenue offices. One (1) National raffle is held on December 10, 2000.
2. Prizes. A total of P 30 Million in cash prizes is available. In the National Draw, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners receive P 2 Million, P 1 Million and P 750,000, respectively.
3. Qualifying entries. All sales invoices and receipts, including cash register tapes, issued from July 1 to December 10, 2000 qualify regardless of amount. The business name and address, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and date of issuance must appear, along with the printer’s name (BIR permit number) and the inclusive serial number of the booklets.
4. Multiple wins and entries. A person may win one prize in each draw and keep all such prizes. A person who wins more than once in the same draw receives only the higher prize. Receipts not drawn in the Regional draws stay in the Area and National draws.
5. Spurious or falsified receipts. If a winning receipt or invoice is spurious, the winner still gets the prize and the issuing establishment is investigated. A participant who falsified the winning invoice or receipt is not entitled to the prize.
