Key points

  1. Manual filers. They download the revised form from the BIR website, print and fill it in. The taxable amount is the total gross sales or receipts for the quarter, and payment is made at an AAB, with the Revenue Collection Officer through MRCOS where no AAB exists, or online through GCash, Landbank Linkbiz Portal or DBP Tax Online.
  2. Earlier 2551M payments. Manual filers who paid the first and second month, or all three months, using BIR Form No. 2551M still file Form 2551Q. They show the quarter’s total gross sales or receipts and the payments in Item No. 17, Other Credit/Payment Made.
  3. No payment or overpayment. If the computation shows no payment or an overpayment, the No Payment Return is filed through eBIRForms using the enhanced old Form 2551Q in Offline eBIRForms Package v7. Payments made are reflected in Item No. 20A, Creditable Percentage Tax Withheld per BIR Form No. 2307, as a work-around.
  4. eBIRForms and eFPS filers. They use the enhanced old form containing all the ATCs listed in BIR Form No. 2551M, and indicate total gross sales or receipts for the quarter. Earlier monthly payments are reflected in Item No. 20A, and eFPS filers pay online after e-filing.
