CollapseExpand
Key points
- Weekly submission by RDOs. Revenue District Offices submit the Weekly Consolidated SRCD, in hard or soft copy by e-mail, to the Chief of the Regional Finance Division on or before the 5th day after each calendar week. Copies go to the Regional Collection Division, the Collection Performance Monitoring Division (CPMD) and the Revenue Accounting Division (RAD).
- Validation by RFDs. Regional Finance Divisions validate the weekly SRCD right away. They send the validated report to the RAD within three (3) days from receiving it from the RDOs.
- Reconciliation by RAD. The RAD reconciles collections through Revenue Collection Officers against the BTr-JEVs. On or before the monthly closing of the BTr books, it tells the BTr of collections not yet credited to the BIR’s account by the BTr-NCAD.
- Monitoring by CPMD. The CPMD monitors whether Revenue Collection Officers, Special Collecting Officers and Collecting Officers follow the rules on accepting tax payments and remitting them to the BTr.
