Key points

  1. Transmission of payment data. AABs send payment data to the Revenue Data Center (RDC) through Electronic Data Transmission (EDT). Diskettes are allowed only on an exception basis, with a grace period of one month from rollout date to fix readiness problems and meet EDT requirements.
  2. Custody of original documents. The RDC keeps the originals from AABs under RDOs within Metro Manila/Metro Cebu and their converted sites outside those areas. For non-ITS RDOs outside Metro Manila/Metro Cebu, the concerned Regional Office keeps them.
  3. Bank branch performance check. The RDC conducts it for RDOs within Metro Manila/Metro Cebu and ITS-converted sites outside them. For non-ITS RDOs outside Metro Manila/Metro Cebu, the RDOs conduct it.
  4. Certification of authenticity. The RDO is responsible and accountable for a taxpayer’s request for certification of authenticity.
