Key points
- Overall goal. The Department of Finance set the CY 2012 goal at P 1,066.118 Billion. This is 13.42% higher than the CY 2011 goal of P 940.000 Billion, and is based on the Budget of Expenditures and Sources of Financing for 2012.
- Allocation method. The preliminary total goal was allocated to implementing offices based on their CY 2011 percent share of total collections, subject to refinements. The Tax Remittance Advice goal per RDO was estimated using the three-year average (CY 2009-2011) TRA national growth rate.
- Direct allocations to LTS. Excise Taxes of P 71.083 Billion go to the LT Field Operations Division. The Income Tax goal of P 9.185 Billion on MALAMPAYA and the estimated BSP final withholding taxes of P 18.981 Billion are also allocated directly to the Large Taxpayers Service.
- RDO targets and monthly goals. RDO targets were set for a growth of 15% to 20% from CY 2011 actual refined collections, so that LTS gets an approximate share of 65% and the Revenue Regions 35%. Monthly goals by major tax type follow the monthly trend of actual CY 2011 collections, and the goal per office is in Annex B.
