Key points

  1. How the OR goes to PhilHealth. For a check received by mail, the OR is sent by mail, submitted personally, or hand-carried by an authorized representative. For a check picked up from the PhilHealth Office, a provisional receipt may be issued first and the OR issued on pick-up of succeeding checks, and both must show the check numbers, dates and amounts.
  2. Professional fees via Auto Credit. For professional fees paid through the Auto Credit System, the provider waits for the Professional Fee Payment Notice from PhilHealth. The OR then shows the amount and the date it was credited.
  3. Government facilities. Government health care facilities issue the Republic of the Philippines OR (Accountable Form No. 51).
  4. Deadline and monitoring. All ORs must reach PhilHealth within 30 working days from receipt of payment or reimbursement. For mailed ORs, the post office received-stamp date is the starting date, and a system at PhilHealth offices monitors compliance, which may affect future reimbursements.
